Annual Swimming Fee 2026
Every swimmer and coach must hold a current annual club membership. It is separate from your monthly group fees. When you pay it, the club registers you with Swim England and covers your registration for the calendar year.
Swim England registration
Everyone who swims, coaches, helps or holds a membership must be registered with Swim England. You don't arrange this yourself. When you pay your annual membership fee, the club registers you and pays your Swim England membership on your behalf. The category you're registered at depends on your age and how you take part.
Which category applies to you?
| Who | Swim England category |
|---|---|
| Para or disability swimmers competing in external competitions, aged 9 or over | Category 2 · Swim Compete |
| Para or disability swimmers preparing for classification | Category 2 · Swim Compete |
| Swimmers in any other group, and mainstream swimmers | Category 1 · Swim Train |
| Members who do not swim in the pool | Category 3 · Club Support |
| Volunteers, committee members, teachers and helpers | Category 3 or above · Swim Support |
Parents, carers and guardians do not need to join the club or register with Swim England, unless you want to use land training, the gym or club social events.
