From hello to first swim

A volunteer will guide you through every step.

Enquire

Get in touch by email or through our contact form to let us know you’re interested. A friendly volunteer will reply to talk through your options and answer any questions.

Tell us more about your needs

We’ll send you a short form to complete so we understand the swimmer’s ability, any support needs and which group might suit best.

Trial session

Come along for a free trial swim with the right group. There’s no pressure and no experience needed, just turn up, give it a go, and decide if Marlins are for you.

Offered a place

If it’s a good fit, we’ll offer you a place in the group, then there are just two quick steps to get you swimming regularly with Birmingham Marlins.

Pay your annual membership fee

Pay your annual club membership fee on the shop. It covers your Swim England registration, which the club arranges and pays on your behalf.

Set up your direct debit

Sign up for a monthly direct debit via GoCardless. Marlins will set you up on the correct group and fees, so there’s nothing for you to work out, just follow the link.
