Poppy's thoughts

My name is Poppy and I am 8 years old. I love swimming with Birmingham Marlins because exercise is important to keep all children fit and healthy.

Because I have autism swimming is then more special to me because it makes me feel so happy and cheers me up even when I've had a bad day. I love Birmingham Marlins because I get to swim and meet others who are similar to me - it makes me feel like I am not the only one out there with autism.
